چکیده
The use of non-opioid analgesics following surgery has proven beneficial in managing pain and decreasing adverse outcomes surgery. Data assessing related to opioid is limited kidney transplant recipients (KTRs). We evaluated the effectiveness implementing a reduced no protocol KTRs. This retrospective cohort study included adult KTRs between January 2017 July 2019 with multimodal analgesic (MAP), focused on limiting opioids, implemented August 2018. compared requirements morphine milligram equivalents (MME) during admissions MAP traditional cohort. There were 217 who met criteria. Inpatient was significantly (16.5 ± 19.2 MME/day vs 24.7 19.7 MME/day; P <.05) significant difference scores. No opioids within six months discharge increased (50% 7%; <.001), there reported deaths at either analgesia provide adequate control exposure admission or discharge.

Self-management Determinants in Kidney Transplant Recipients according to the Health Belief Model
Introduction: Kidney transplant recipients, as chronic patients, need lifelong self-management. Therefore, identification of the effective factors is helpful in strengthening the individuals' adherence and planning self-management in the post-transplant period. However, the empirical research on this area is limited. The purpose of this study was "Explaining self-management determinants in kidn...
متن کاملCataract in kidney transplant recipients.
The relationship between the administrated dose of steroid and the grade of cataract was studied in 22 kidney transplant recipients maintaining a good graft function for more than one year. Posterior subcapsular cataract was observed in 19 patients, of whom seven showed severe cataract accompanied by visual disturbance. The total dose of steroid, particularly the dose in the period from three m...
متن کاملApproach to kidney transplant in sensitized potential transplant recipients.
More than one-third of patients on waiting lists for kidney transplant are sensitized. Most have previously formed donor-specific and non-donor-specific serum antibodies and/or positive crossmatch by complement-dependent cytotoxity and/or flow cytometry. Two categories of alloantibodies include antibodies against major histocompatibility complex human leukocyte antigen class 1 and class 2 and a...
